The Terraces is a charming miner's cottage set amidst a lovely old-fashioned cottage garden. It’s perched high on a large elevated block so has magnificent sweeping views of the town and surrounding mountains. The Terraces offers tranquillity and space. It’s only a short walk to the Main Street Shops.

Relax in the sunroom, watch the birds feeding and enjoy the magnificent views of the township and distant mountains. On wintry nights sit around the open fire in the cosy lounge room. On sunny days have lunch outside on the large enclosed verandah behind The Terraces, or under the old Peppercorn tree shading the side terrace.

Wander around the garden and enjoy the rose arches, fruit trees and herb garden. For solitude you can retreat into the canopy of the huge Morton Bay Fig tree behind the cottage or just walk through the back gate into the bushland of Mt Tarrangower where there are extensive walking tracks.

The Terraces is fully self contained. The lounge room has an open fireplace and a reverse cycle heater/cooler. The sunroom has a comfortable sitting area, two couches and a coffee table, and a dining area. There are two bedrooms - one bedroom has two single beds, the other a double bed. The bathroom is part of the enclosed back veranda. The veranda at the back is large, sheltered and wire-screened.
